One fifth done sewing blocks.

Little bit at a time

I'm going to start piecing C's disappearing nine patch tonight. I wanted to break up the quilting with some other sewing I had to do.

Piecing a top

P and I are going shopping in the morning for some thread for quilting. I pieced the back last night and I made the sandwich tonight but here are the photos from the piecing part of this project.


Remember though, I took out the dark green squares because I didn't like them so this isn't exactly how it turned out.

And then joined the blocks into strips

I have a new hard drive!
I lost some data.

Let this be a lesson. All your important stuff, make sure you have several backups just in case one of them fails.

Tonight's update.

Just some pictures

All the blocks are sewn and three rows joined. I quit for the night after I snipped my finger along with some threads. At least the scissors are sharp.

They can always find it

Whenever I put my quilting stuff down, the cats are all over it. Tonight is no exception.
